In the Christmas story, wise men offered gold to the baby Jesus. Shall we do likewise?We each have that capability, you know. As a Christian you carry gold with you everywhere you go. If you are like me, don’t waste your time checking your wallet. The gold a Christian has the benefit of is beyond earthly value. Let’s offer it to the Master. Geography and/or history buffs know that Ghana used to be called the Gold Coast.
Directly to our west is Cote d’Ivoire, or the Ivory Coast. Logic tells us that elephants once used to be in abundance in the Ivory Coast, and logic is correct. Logic also tells us that there used to be much yellow gold in Ghana, and that logic is also correct. In fact, there is still much gold here. It has been estimated that only 5% of the world’s gold resources have been discovered. . . .
