We recently received the following update from the Red Bay church in Grand Cayman: “For many years now, we have suffered from severe flooding to our parking lot. In November, the Men’s Fellowship under the enthusiastic and skilled leadership of Brother Joel Jackson, devised a strategy to trench between the drains and lay pipes to connect to a pump that will kick in to assist the drainage. Water will then be pumped to a man-made pond at the back of the church. This project, labeled “Parking Lot & Pumping Station,” was thoroughly completed over four Saturdays with men and women working through late evenings, as well as the ladies preparing breakfast, lunch, and supper. It is also noteworthy that about 80-90% of the project was funded by free-will pledges from the brethren, as well as some donated labor. Indeed, ‘Hitherto Hath the Lord Helped Us,’ and we are confident of His continued help and guidance. We do appreciate your prayerful support.”
