Transition in Cayman Brac

Bro. Davelee and Sis. Ruby Tibbetts have faithfully served the churches at Spot Bay and Watering Place on Cayman Brac since even before their official installation as pastor in 2001. Bro. Davelee’s life has been filled with work and ministry. He spent more than thirty years working at sea on bulk carriers; he has served as a plumber; and he has taught the Word of God, first as Assistant Pastor at Red Bay, and then as Pastor in Cayman Brac.

As of August 31, Bro. Davelee and Sis. Ruby resigned from their role of leadership. We are thankful for their efforts to see the Kingdom of God advance and for their dedication to the Lord. Director Steve Elsey traveled down to hold a series of services, and the churches held a special celebration to honor the Tibbetts and thank them for their ministry.
