Esther and Philip Urquiola, Stephen and Pamela On December 13, 2024, former missionary Philip Urquiola passed to his heavenly reward at the age of 96. Philip and his wife, Esther, served the churches in Bolivia from 1960-1978. Bro. Phil served faithfully and with courage in spite of persecution and danger to his life. He was bilingual in Spanish and English and also knew Quechua and Aymara. He taught believers and witnessed in new villages, persevering for the name of Christ.

A baptismal service was recently held in the beautiful ocean at Grand Cayman. God has touched this sister’s heart and brought healing to her body. We are grateful for the leadership of Pastor Carlson Benjamin at the Red Bay church.

When Roxene and I became missionaries, we were required by our mission board to recruit those who would become a part of our team as supporters. “Grandma Miller” became one of our team members. During one of our furloughs, I had opportunity to visit with her. As I sat across from her in her living room, Grandma Miller shared about how, when she was a young girl, she thought it would be wonderful to be a missionary. Reading stories about missionaries fueled her desire to go an
