Dr. Gayle Woods, pastor of Spot Bay and Watering Place churches, recently wrote, “Cayman Brac is a community. It is an extended family. The government as well as the numerous postal districts plan community activities throughout the year. December is especially full of things to do and places to go.” Each church also had a Sunday evening Christmas program, and they both saw crowds close to capacity. “Midst our times of celebration and worship,” Dr. Woods continued, “hurt and

A Testimony Left Behind
Eldeen Emery Banks Dr. Gayle Woods, missionary pastor in Cayman Brac, recently wrote the following: “This Saturday I will be preaching the funeral of Eldeen Emery Banks. Some fell on hearts with fertile soil that brought forth a rich harvest. It’s a blessing to read Dr. Woods’ monthly reports and see the harvest being reaped in Cayman Brac due to his faithful leadership and planting the seed, in partnership with the local brothers and sisters’ faithfulness in the Spot Bay

Derailed Plans or a Divine Plot Twist?
It was a normal March Tuesday in Cayman Brac. Pastor Gayle Woods drove from the mission home near the bluff, intent on visiting ill parishioners at the hospital. But on this particular day, Dr. Woods’ vehicle interrupted his plans by running roughly, not getting up to speed, and belching black exhaust. Abandoning his original intent, Dr. Woods set his sights on N & N Auto Repair. As he was passing Market Place, the car seemed to be running a little better, so he decided to pa
