In the final months of 2025, World Missions had some big needs. The Annual Harvest Offering was published to raise funds for exploratory trips for new ministries. In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, a request was sent out for relief funds for Jamaica. A family in the Middle East needed an additional $15,000 in ministry support before the end of the year. The Doyle family in Papua New Guinea needed an additional $20,000 to support their ministry through their return next su

Dr. Jim and Board member Dwight Purtle are traveling to Jamaica, December 10-15. Pastor Philip Gumbs will meet them there. Pastor Gumbs and Dr. Jim will be teaching and preaching as a part of the church’s annual conference. While there, they will be working out the best way to get hurricane relief funds to them. Dr. Jim asks for prayer for this trip. Please also continue to pray for the Jamaicans affected by Hurricane Melissa.

We are grateful for new converts baptized in Jamaica! They were saved in revival services at the Barnette church and were baptized by Pastor Hopeton Sutherland. Two faithful ladies minister at Barnette, including Pastor Richards.

Sharon Mauck served in Jamaica from 1969-1983, alongside her husband, Ray, and her daughter, Amber. Together, Ray and Sharon worked with Venture High School and also with the youth of the churches. Upon returning to the U.S., Ray and Sharon served as children’s pastors for more than 30 years, and she was also an active supporter of Fort Scott Christian Heights. Sharon passed to her heavenly reward on January 31, 2024. We are grateful for Sharon’s life devoted to Kingdom work,
