“Good, Better, Best: Let us never rest until our good is better, and our better, best.” This quote, given at the 2015 Caribbean Conference, is a good summary of the business conducted there.
Each year, the conference brings together representatives from the Caribbean ministries for encouragement and Kingdom expansion.
From November 10-11, a total of 16 men and women participated in this year’s meeting. The setting was the East End church on the beautiful island of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. The attendees represented the U.S., St. Croix, Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anguilla, the Cayman Islands, Haiti, and Jamaica.
Director Mark Surbrook enjoyed his time very much. He was joined by Board member Paul Confer. Missionary David Woods also traveled over from Cayman Brac.
Bro. Philip Gumbs ably chaired the meeting, which included ministry summaries and strategic planning sessions. Once the Caribbean Conference ended, the Eastern Caribbean District conducted its annual board meeting for two days.
Director Mark attended both meetings and was also able to speak at the two churches in Tortola. He was inspired by the solid leadership and fellowship with the brethren in the Eastern Caribbean.
As God brings them to mind, please pray for all of our workers in the Caribbean. These people attended the conference:
