Annual Harvest Offering

Consider these possible scenarios:
A missionary on the field has a medical emergency and needs to travel out of the country for care; and
A Ghanaian village does not have even one church, but many are curious to see the movie about Jesus.
While these two situations may seem unrelated, they represent two facets of ministry that the World Mission Board supports: missionary care and evangelism.
This November, your participation in the Annual Harvest Offering will provide for both these important needs:
First, it will establish a fund to care for the physical needs of our missionaries. Sometimes, missionaries face physical challenges that require visits to physicians, surgeries, physical therapy, and the purchasing of medicine—all of which cost money even after health insurance. At times a missionary may need to return home to receive treatment. For years we have sought to care for the spiritual needs of our missionaries. World Missions would like to expand our care to include financial assistance with medical needs as approved on a case by case basis, as well.
Secondly, the annual offering will help our Ghanaian brothers and sisters as they desire to answer God’s call to fulfill the Great Commission. To do this, the Church leaders would like to restart the JESUS film ministry. The churches outside of Wa were started using this effective tool, but now, years later, the generator, projector, and speakers need to be replaced. We have an opportunity to help equip our Ghanaian brothers and sisters to re-enter the ministry of outreach by showing the JESUS film and nurturing those who respond.
