Annual Harvest Offering November 2024
Building the Kingdom of God around the world can look like many things. Most often we may think of preaching and teaching, and those are certainly involved. However, building the Kingdom of God can also include small, tangible steps that support the preaching and teaching of the Word.
For this year’s Annual Harvest Offering, we invite you to invest in specific projects—building blocks—to support the work of God in Myanmar and Papua New Guinea.
The construction of a new building for Shiloh Bible College in Myanmar has been stalled due to lack of funds. This building will house the college classrooms, girls’ and boys’ dormitories, school offices and library, as well as church services. Your gift will help provide doors for this four-story building. (Goal: $5000)
Most of the study materials available for Shiloh Bible College students are in English. We would like to see Dr. Lo’s study, God’s Call to Holiness, translated into Burmese and printed for the use of the students and the churches. (Goal: $2000)
The Literacy Project in Papua New Guinea has seen cultural stories with a moral lesson printed for distribution to the Solos elementary schools. There are additional funds needed to cover the printing, shipping, and distribution costs. These books will help Solos children learn to read their own language and prepare them to be able to read the Solos Bible. (Goal: $5000)
The Doyle family is facing some unexpected expenses for health needs. Christy and their youngest son, Jacob, have come to the US so she can have a CT scan and additional surgery on her left foot. Your donation will help World Missions cover these costs. (Goal: $5000)
These are exciting, tangible ways that you can partner with World Missions. Your gift to this year’s Annual Harvest Offering will fund these needs.
Will you consider how you can partner with us as we seek to build the Kingdom of God in Myanmar and Papua New Guinea?
