Ministry in the USA

The Doyles' first church visit was June 28 at New Journey at Gregory Hills in KC, MO, with Pastor Kevin and Aimee Askew.

The Doyle family returned to the U.S. for a regularly-scheduled home assignment on June 17. Larry and Christy sent out an update shortly before their move.

It is thrilling to consider that we will be able to spend time with family, friends, and partners across the USA over the coming months. At the same time, there is sadness in leaving behind the main parts of our lives, relationships, and work here in PNG.

The life of missions has been from the beginning one of transition and travel, as Paul mentioned often in his epistles. But this is part of the life we have been called to. Just as much as God has called us to serve the people of PNG with no Bible in their language, He has also called us to serve the churches and believers in the USA by connecting you with these people that need Bible translation.

Our schedule is starting to come together for our first little while in the USA, but there is still space on some weekends for church visits, and many openings for personal visits. We do really love to connect one-on-one, so when we’re going to be in your area, let us know your availability, and we can connect over coffee, for a meal, or even just for an hour or two to visit.
