USA Time!

Our flight from Ukarumpa to begin home assignment began with a trip to Port Moresby, then eventually to the USA, with us arriving “home” to Oklahoma two days later, on Wednesday, June 17. It is thrilling to consider that we will be able to spend time with family, friends, and partners across the USA over the coming months. At the same time, there is sadness in leaving behind the main parts of our lives, relationships, and work here in Papua New Guinea.
The life of missions has been from the beginning one of transition and travel, as Paul mentioned often in his epistles. But this is part of the life we have been called to. Just as much as God has called us to serve the people of PNG with no Bible in their language, He has also called us to serve the churches and believers in the USA by connecting you with these people that need Bible translation.
Our schedule is starting to come together for our first little while in the USA, but there is still space on some weekends for church visits, and many openings for personal visits. We’re hoping to be in the USA for just six months. We do really love to connect one-on-one, so when we’re going to be in your area, let us know your availability, and we can connect over coffee, for a meal, or even just for an hour or two to visit. We’re willing to drive several hours to see YOU! Please contact us!
