Gospel Camp in Myanmar

In April, all of Myanmar celebrated Thingyan, or Myanmar Water Festival. It falls at the end of school, at the end of the hot season, and at the beginning of the Buddhist New Year. The national holiday lasts four or five days and is characterized by water. People gather and spray water on others or enjoy getting sprayed. It is thought that the water washes away the sins and bad luck of the previous year.
Each year, Andrew Bawi Ceu takes advantage of the spiritual aspect of this holiday and hosts a Gospel Camp. This year, 135 people attended, including 22 non-Christians. Andrew taught about Jesus, and on the final day nine new Christians were baptized!
