On Sunday, August 20, Bro. Carlson Benjamin was installed as the new senior pastor of the Red Bay Church of God (Holiness) in Grand Cayman. For the last two years, Pastor Benjamin has been involved in ministry at Red Bay on a part-time basis. Rev. From July 10 -14 we had Vacation Bible School at the Spot Bay church. The theme was “Jerusalem Marketplace.” We had up to 65 kids on a given night, although the total number was more than that since the attendance varied from night to night. It was a good time of ministering to the young people, and we pray that the message of the gospel found a place in their heart that will lead them to a life serving Jesus. Mark Walton, a member of the Spot Bay church in Cayman Brac, passed away in January. Dr. Woods, his pastor, shared: “I loved to hear him tell of his conversion. He was a sailor (as were many of the older generation from this island). One day in 1960 one of the boilers on his oil tanker blew up. The whole ship was in flames and soon sank.
