New Pastor at Red Bay
On Sunday, August 20, Bro. Carlson Benjamin was installed as the new senior pastor of the Red Bay Church of God (Holiness) in Grand Cayman.
For the last two years, Pastor Benjamin has been involved in ministry at Red Bay on a part-time basis. Rev. Philip Gumbs, as Chairman of the Caribbean Conference, was engaged in Red Bay’s pastoral search and was a part of the installation service, as well. We commend the Red Bay church board for their diligence in search of a pastor and in leading the church during this time of transition.
Pastor Benjamin and his wife, Abigail, have four daughters. He is a graduate of God’s Bible School & College and also holds an MA in Educational Leadership from Cedarville, Ohio. His years of ministry have seen him serve in positions of leadership in churches and Christian schools in Ohio, Grenada, and Grand Cayman.
Rev. Gumbs writes that Pastor Benjamin “is gifted with exegetical preaching and teaching that is relevant, bold, and compassionate,” and further states that his youthfulness and maturity “are exactly what the church needs” as it ministers to people of all ages.
Thank you for your continued prayers for the Red Bay church and their new pastor.
