Thieves Break in Church in Haiti
I have received word that gangs are vandalizing churches in Haiti. One of our own Churches of God (Holiness) was vandalized, ransacked, and everything that was inside, stolen. They even broke into the presbytery. One church leader wrote, “Surely we are living in the last days. No regards for the sanctuary. But God remains sovereign. He knows, He cares, He understands. We can trust Him in spite of everything.” Though the church has been destroyed, worship will continue to happ

Haiti Foodbank: Offerings Needed
We are glad to be able to support school lunches for children in Haiti. For many children, this is the best meal they receive in a day. However, the Foodbank offerings have been declining in recent months. This means we will have to reduce our offerings for next school year from $2500 per month to $1400 (closer to the average Foodbank offerings we receive monthly). If you would like to support this ministry and help us avoid this cutback, please click here or mail a check wi

Prayers Needed for Haiti
The country of Haiti, and in particular the city of Port-au-Prince, is suffering under the heavy hand of gang rule. The Haitian Prime Minister has stepped down, and there is no permanent government in place. We have three churches in Port-au-Prince--Delmas 6, Delmas 32, and Boston Cite. Unfortunately, Boston Cite which was in an unsafe neighborhood for years, has had to close. Their pastor died 2-3 years ago, and now his son was recently shot and is in the hospital. Delmas 6,

School Success in Haiti
Rev. Jeudilus Noel (Pastor Samson) recently gave a glowing report of the effectiveness of our school in Dos Palais, Haiti: “I am visiting Dos Palais now to congratulate the teachers for the great job they have done this year. Although this school year wasn’t so perfect for the country in general, Dos Palais made a difference in the state exams. About 95% of our students succeeded, and it’s considered as the school with the most success in the whole area. This wonderful effort

Rebuilding a Church in Haiti
Due to the generosity of many donors, we have been able to send over $48,000 toward the rebuilding of the church at Gauthier, Haiti, after it was destroyed in an earthquake last August. The congregation has been meeting in a temporary shelter, but will soon be meeting in their new, larger church building with walls strengthened in an effort to resist damage from future earthquakes. We are grateful for your prayers and faithful giving!

Church and Classes Resume in Myanmar
In January, Andrew Bawi Ceu shared good news that both his local congregation, Faith Bible Church, and Shiloh Bible College were able to resume in-person meetings. Shiloh Bible College resumed classes with 11 students. The college’s purpose is to train church planters and Christian leaders. Please continue to pray for Christians in Myanmar. There is still much unrest since the military coup in February of last year.

Haiti Ministry Update
We are grateful to many who gave for the new church building in Gauthier after the old one was destroyed by an earthquake. In March, Pastor Samson was able to make a trip to the southern peninsula, which had been too dangerous before. The foundation is being marked out. The work has been started! Conditions are still dangerous in certain locations because of gang activity. The school at Bonnette was forced to close. There are gangs in the area. The Haiti Foodbank now provides

Emergency Relief for Haiti
A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck the southern peninsula of Haiti on August 14. Two days later, Tropical Storm Grace passed over the region. Less than a week later, the death toll had climbed to close to 2000, with the number of injured nearing 10,000. We have three churches near the epicenter of the earthquake. Pastor Ronald from the Maillard church was injured, but not seriously; we are grateful that the buildings were not damaged. However, church members are staying at the

Gang Activity in Haiti Keeps Mother Church From Meeting
Pray for those enduring continued unrest in Haiti. Gang members in Port-au-Prince have moved to the area of Delmas 6 and taken over, forcing our mother church not to meet for a while. The police were called in to help, but they could do little because the gang members own more powerful firearms. Gang members have also been in the area of our Cite Boston church. The church has been able to meet again, but please pray for protection for our brothers and sisters.

Haiti Contends with COVID-19
When Director Mark Surbrook spoke with Pastor Samson by phone in June, he heard a cough. Pastor Samson admitted that he most likely had fought the coronavirus, later writing that he had experienced all the symptoms, but there is so little testing available in Haiti that it was not confirmed. As of June 10, the Haiti Health Ministry had confirmed over 3,600 cases of COVID-19, but with only two labs able to conduct tests, the number is likely much higher. We are grateful to G
