Merry Christmas from the Doyles!

This time of year is a great reminder about the basic reasons for why we do what we do, and hopefully that’s true for you as well. God sending His Son into the world is not just a good excuse to be celebratory and exchange gifts. It was the culmination of thousands of years of a divine reaching out to the broken people in a broken world, and the start of a new era of God using His people to carry on that work.

Thank you for being a part of this ongoing gift of God to the world! May you be richly blessed this Christmas season.

Need on the Field:

In Ukarumpa our boys attend an international school, and we recently received a letter from them asking for help and prayers for the Primary Campus where Jacob should be attending.

“In June, the Primary Campus will be losing all of its lead grade-level teachers (Kindergarten through Grade 5). We do not have any grade-level classroom teachers in the pipeline to return or arrive for July 2023. This means that for the 2023-2024 school year, we currently do not have any lead classroom teachers for Grades K-5.

Please pray that God will mobilize teachers and that God will give wisdom to the entire UIS admin team – that we will be creative and wise as we think outside of the box, and that we will make decisions that ultimately glorify Him, even if they do not look like the fully staffed school we have come to expect.”
