New Christians in Myanmar
After graduating from Shiloh Bible College in Myanmar in 2018, John moved the following year to a Hmong village in eastern Myanmar where only two Christian families lived. John’s desire was to plant a church there. The Hmong people are thought to have moved from the Yellow River basin in China in centuries past; today, the Hmong can be found in Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, and eastern Myanmar. New Converts in Cayman Brac
Dr. Gayle Woods recently wrote about a guest who attended Sunday morning service in January. Afterwards, the lady who brought him to church mentioned he had been baptized. Dr. Woods said baptism was wonderful and he was glad, but asked the man if he had ever asked God to forgive his sins. He had not, but wanted to. In spite of the harmattan blowing in dust from the Sahara Desert, and in spite of the danger of bushfires razing a farmer’s field before it is harvested, sister church members left their homes and traveled to attend. Churches rented lorries, or trucks, so their members could go.

Haiti Work Progresses in Spite of Unrest
Despite everything we are going through in Haiti, we still cannot complain because we are serving a wonderful God. Every day we wake up with these words from the Bible in 1 Samuel 7:12, “Thus far the LORD has helped us.” For a long time we have been living many dark days in Haiti. Situations are so stressful for every Haitian, whether you are Christian or not. Churches, schools, government agencies, people, etc., have been victims of violence in many forms under the oppress
