Flying in the Mountains

Christy Doyle wrote about a detour on a recent trip. “We landed on an airstrip high up in the mountains. It was a beautiful place but a bit scary. On the left side were mountains, on the right side were mountains, and in front were mountains. There were also clouds covering the tops of those mountains. But thankfully we didn't have to go into the clouds. Instead we had to circle between those mountains in order to get low enough to land on the airstrip that was on a cliff. . . . It was one of those instances where you had to trust that the pilot knew what he was doing, the plane's instruments were working, and most of all that God was protecting us!” Aren’t there many instances in life where we have to trust the unknown to an omniscient, loving God? Praise Him for His faithfulness!
